Our story
In the '80s there wasn't much going on at Stuivenbergplein: hardly any shops, restaurants or cafés. Şahin İliksiz opened a restaurant anyway, even though friends advised him against it.
Through hard work, honour and respect for tradition, Mevlana grew into the place where Antwerp's Turkish community comes together. Everyone is welcome.
We cook the way it's done in Turkey, with respect for tradition.
